Designing a bold, distinctive logo for a grassroots Auckland charity to strengthen recognition and impact.


Mission
Role: Freelance Graphic Designer
Mum’s Mince is an Auckland-based charity, providing home-cooked meals to people in need with the help of over 1,500 volunteers. They wanted a logo that was instantly recognisable, bold, and distinctly Kiwi, building on their vision of two hands forming a heart.
I developed a clean black-and-white logo with bold lines for strong readability across digital channels and created a brand guideline system to ensure consistent application. Digital assets were optimised for social media, banners, posts, and modular calendars that their team can easily update.
The final identity is iconic, practical, and reflective of the charity’s generosity and community spirit.
